This is an interesting item that I use often but its a little expensive for what it is. It speeds up counting a little but not significantly so because while/after you're loading it you have to be sure that every slot is filled or its inaccurate. Sometimes when you put in a stack the slots are under/overfilled which you need to correct.

This is a sturdy and functional cash tray that fits nicely in a shallow drawer. I like that this cash drawer has money clips (to hold bills down securely) and the lid is completely removable (versus attached with a hinge). If you are using this cash box in in a drawer like I am, you don't have to hassle with holding a lid up with one hand with handling money one-handed. This unit allows easy access to the bills and coins, and you can place the lid on and lock up at the end of the day, or when away from the box as needed. I am very satisfied with this product!

I have purchased several different style cash boxes and this one is defintely worth it for the price. It is lighter in weight as the insert is plastic. The cash holders are very sturdy and will last a long time.

I wasn't very satisfied with this product. It's very flimsy, and arrived bent straight out of the box and wouldn't close or lock properly. I worked with it a bit and finally got it to where it would close and the clasp-lock would at least function. I think the problem is that the sheetmetal is just too thin, maybe two or three times thicker than an aluminum soda can. Any time I drop something on it, it dents very easily, even though the object striking it was not heavy (like my hairbrush, for example). It serves the purpose I needed it for, but for the price I wish it were more strongly constructed. I anticipate having to replace it in another 3-4 months, and I will definitely go with something sturdier. Caveat emptor.

Its an excellent lock box for the price. If you want something fancier that latches when it shuts, then you'll need to pay more. But I have to ask... why would you want to get in the habit of not locking this when you're carrying it around? The lid stays closed, you just need to latch it with the key before you pick it up by the handle. Not a big deal.

I needed this box quickly, and was disappointed that when it arrived, it wouldn't even open! Completely unusable. There was no visible damage to the packaging, so it seems to be a production issue. Several other units for sale on Amazon mention metal not being lined up correctly, but not the case with this one. I'll update this review after I have received another one...I'm hopeful that they will resolve the issue.
